Behind the Edit
This took an unbelievable turn from the script. I initially set out to tell a dramatic story of an escaped and exploited monster but found that I had nearly none of the story beats to make that work. So, I sat staring at the footage when it was suggested to me that I should try making a "meme-y" edit. Naturally, I thought of most meme-y network I know of: Adult Swim. From there, I did a few hours of Adult Swim "studying" before I reworked my footage to fit their format. While I can't say I properly conveyed a story, I'm happy with crafting an entertaining parody of a generic Adult Swim show.
